What is Coaching

Coaching is not a Therapy, Diagnosis Service or Training to teach you how to be a Coach.

Coaching is conducted in accordance with the ACCPH guidelines and Coaches undertake supervision and work within their code of ethics for good practice and is a service offered in a safe, non-judgmental space, to help guide any young person who may be struggling personally, educationally or perhaps in the workplace.
Every struggle is unique and so Coaching Sessions are individually tailored to your own needs, learning styles and personality, with the aim to empower you to achieve goals.
I will use a range of activities to aid self-awareness and understanding, to identify what may be blocking opportunities for you, and what you can do about it.
During the time spent with me, you will learn and reflect as you build an Emotional Toolbox and Self-Care Tips that you can use after your sessions have ended.

I can coach anyone aged between 4 and 19 years old to explore mental health, well-being and/or emotional literacy.

What can you Expect a Session to Look Like

Because the coaching process is so individual, it is impossible to explain what a session will look like. We will discuss your needs before deciding if coaching is suitable for you. Please be aware that some Clients’ needs may fall outside of the coaching scope of practice. I would require child consent before starting and would then think about the best resources to begin our 1st session. Where possible, we would start by doing a joint activity with child and parent.

Confidentiality and Child Protection – All information shared will be confidential, however if I am aware there is a risk to self or others then I will be obliged to discuss this with you.
